Brooks, RN, CHE, as Senior Partner for Health Care, with management responsibilities for the agency's integrated offerings to healthcare employers.
Dr. Brooks joins the agency from the University of Illinois at Chicago where she was Associate Dean for Education Outreach, Executive Director of the Institute for Healthcare Innovation, and Director of the Graduate Program in Administrative Nursing in the University's College of Nursing, where she taught the graduate human resource management course. She also founded the Brooks Group, Inc., a health care consulting and training company dedicated to improving the quality of nursing work life. Previously in her career, Dr. Brooks worked in employment communications and as a nurse recruiter. She is widely published in the nursing administration and health care management literature and presents workshops internationally and nationally.

A graduate of Valparaiso University (B.S.N.), Dr. Brooks received an M.S. degree in Nursing Administration from Northwestern University and a Ph.D. in Nursing Science from the University of Illinois. Dr. Brooks is also a board certified health care executive (CHE).
